Guests are generally impressed by the quality of the rooms at this hotel, with many commenting on the modern and clean surroundings. Very few guests find the lack of air-conditioning a problem, with most focussing on positives such as the comfy beds.

The hotel is simple to access from the M9 and the A9. Plus, these roads offer easy direct access to destinations such as Edinburgh and Queensferry. Numerous guests mention that although the hotel is close to major roads, very little traffic noise can be heard.

The staff at the Premier Inn Falkirk East consistently make a great impression on guests. Many reviews describe the staff as being friendly and bubbly without being overbearing. The team seems proactive when dealing with guests and anticipate queries and needs in advance.

A number of guests point out that the double rooms do not, in fact, contain amenities for two. There is only one chair in the rooms and occasionally only one towel is provided. Tea and coffee supplies also appear fairly meagre for two guests.

Although the hotel seems to be shielded from road noise, more than one guest was disturbed by people staying in rooms above their own.One likened the sound to migrating elephants although the problem is more likely to be related to poor internal soundproofing.

While many guests find the rates here reasonable, others point out that rates at Premier Inn hotels seem to be getting higher and higher. You can certainly expect high room costs when local events are taking place. A bigger problem for many was the fact you have to pay for premium Wi-Fi (which didn't prove all that much faster that the free option).
