Porte de Versailles Hotel (Paris, France)

The hotel is described as being just a sort walk from the expo centre, so guests attending events there couldn't have been happier abut the location. For others, the nearby metro station was a boon, since they could board trains there that would quickly whisk them into the heart of Paris.

No matter what small problems guests had with their rooms (usually that they were too small), most travelling when there were no major conventions scheduled said they had received an excellent room-rate. All things considered, they felt that they had received excellent value for money.

Guests had very simple words to say what they thought about the cleanliness of their rooms. They felt that they were spotless on check-in, and were maintained to a high standard during their stay.

Though it is of course something of a Paris cliché, many guests complained that the rooms at Porte de Versailles were simply too small. They are described as being big enough for the bed and a pathway round it, and not much else, not even their suitcases.

The hotel is situated on a very busy street and guests mention that the rooms facing it can be very loud. It seems that inadequate soundproofing has been installed, so it would be best to ask for a rear facing room if you are a light sleeper. On the plus side, no complaints of noise from adjacent rooms were found.

Unfortunately, complaints about the Wi-Fi system were very common indeed. Guests say that the hotel uses a complicated voucher system, but that the vouchers don't work as intended, causing a lot of frustration all round.
