Positive Reviews

positive:

Surely, one of the best locations in Athens!

The Acropolis and the Parthenon are a five minute walk away and the metro is really close by … as are the city centre's shops and restaurants. Couldn't be better placed really. The Temple of Zeus, Hadrian's Arch and numerous other tourist haunts are all within easy reach. There are numerous restaurants to enjoy but (*tip!) one of the best is Thanisos Restaurant, in Monasteriki Square. If travelling from the airport, the easiest way is via the metro or bus (to Syntagma Station) and then the red line to Acropolis Station. *Much cheaper than hiring a cab!

positive:

Kind and helpful staff.

The Greeks are known for their friendly demeanour and it certainly shines through here. Members of staff are very friendly and helpful. They are certainly a positive feature of any stay at this hotel.

positive:

Clean and tidy accommodation.

No real complaints about the cleanliness of rooms. They are perfectly adequate and beds are comfortable. Breakfast is good and features homemade breads.

Negative Reviews

negative:

A little bit dated.

Carpets in particular are in dire need of replacement.

negative:

A bit on the small side.

Rooms are really quite small, but they are clean. The breakfast room, too, is small and pokey. Not particularly pleasant when crowded.

negative:

No soundproofing.

Depending on the location of the room, the lift noise can be irritating. There is also an element of corridor and neighbouring room noise. Be prepared! Cleaners make an early start and can start knocking the door for access pre-breakfast time.
