Centrally located in the Old Town, Prague's Perla hotel is a four-star boutique hotel with modern design. All of the stylish rooms come with air conditioning, satellite TV, phone, and safe. En suite bathrooms come with bath or shower and hairdryer. Family rooms are available and one room has disabled access. The five storey, mid-sized hotel offers a somewhat intimate setting, with facilities including a gym and a meeting room. Guests are offered airport pick up, valet parking, and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, as well as three public-use computers. Very young children and stag parties cannot be accommodated. The Café-Bar is open all day and serves light snacks and a variety of drinks. In the morning, the Café-Bar is host to a plentiful buffet breakfast with Illy brand espresso and cappuccino. Close to the main train station and Wenceslas Square, Perla hotel is close to many of Prague's monuments.
The location couldn't be better, close to Wenceslas Square and the Mustek metro line. All of the Old Town's monuments, museums, galleries, and the even the old Jewish quarter is easily within walking distance.
Thoughtfully-designed rooms are kept quite clean, and air conditioning is a blessing during the hot summer months.
The staff are very skilled and provide excellent service to their guests. Airport pick up is enjoyed by guests travelling from other countries.
Centrally located, Perla is close to some busy streets, and night noise does filter through. Guests have also said that the rooms are somewhat wee.
Many have had no problem at all, but on a few occasions guests complained of spotty cleaning done by the cleaning crews, such as unchanged linens or glasses.
Vegetarians especially might have a hard time finding something to enjoy as many dishes are likely to have a bit of meat in them. There are veggie, fruit, and pastry options, however.
