The rates charged at this hotel are actually quite good for the area and considering the fact that it’s an okay hotel then it’s a bargain. You get decent Wi-Fi and comfortable bed to lay your head down on after a day of sightseeing.
The people that clean the rooms and those that serve you in the restaurant and bar are quite friendly and extremely helpful. They love to smile, and guests feel genuinely welcome when they are greeted in the hallways or at the breakfast table.
Manila is a noisy city, but guests are still shocked that the rooms at this hotel can let so much of the city noise in. You can hear every beep from a motorcycle and every rev of an engine throughout the night. Add to that the fact that it’s a busy night time area, and you have a very rough night’s sleep.
The staff aren’t exactly helpful at the front desk where it seems that they are rather put out by the fact that they have to check you in. It’s a bit of a cold welcome and makes guests feel uncomfortable and afraid to ask for anything.
This hotel has a bit of a bug problem. There have been quite a few cockroach sightings in the rooms from which you can draw only one conclusion; the place isn’t cleaned properly. This is unnerving, and guests don’t feel comfortable.
