Ossians Hotel offers private room accommodation close to Loch Linnhe, in the centre of everything Fort William has to offer. The hotel is 100 metres from end of the West Highland Way, handy to shopping, main stations, restaurants and pubs, and a few minutes from the West Highland Museum, while the Ben Nevis track is 3km away. The double, twin single and family rooms here all come with en-suite bathrooms, a hospitality tray and TV, and check-in is possible at 3pm, or earlier if the room is ready. Luggage storage, free Wi-Fi and free parking are available at the hotel and well-behaved pets are welcome. The Resident's lounge bar is open until late most days, and 2am in the weekends. Ben Nevis Distillery is located 2.6 miles away from the Ossians Hotel.

Ossian's is found on the Fort William high street, so guests were happy to be close to shops, pubs, restaurants, the train and bus stations, and also found it to be a good base for walking — or arriving from at the end of the West Highland Way.
This hotel seems to pride itself on good prices and value for money, and the basic, admittedly shabby but comfortable rooms were found to provide this. Some said it felt pretty plush after a day’s hiking, but those looking for luxury should look elsewhere, even though some rooms even have lovely views.
Those who stayed found the staff very friendly and helpful, while the free cereal and hot drinks provided in the morning were appreciated and hot breakfast options are found just down the road.
While some found Ossian's to be simply scruffy, run down, a little grubby and generally in need of refurbishment, others liked the cheeky charm of this unpolished establishment.
Given that the hotel is found on the relatively busy main drag, a few guests have said that parking can be a little bit difficult.
A few of those who stayed said that some noise is possible at night, whether that be from traffic or people who have been out on the town.
