Ommaroo Hotel (Saint Helier, United Kingdom)

Guests loved being so close to the sea side. They appreciated being able to walk right down to the beach to swim or stroll and loved the spectacular views of the sea from the hotel. Some of the rooms even have balconies facing the ocean, and guests that stayed in those rooms enjoyed watching the waves while sipping their morning coffee. The hotel is also just a ten-minute walk from the centre of St. Helier, where guests found many shops, attractions, and restaurants to keep them entertained during their holiday.

Almost every review of Ommaroo had positive things to say about the employees there. They generally reported that everyone was friendly without sacrificing professionalism and always greeted them with a smile. The staff also gave out excellent directions and recommendations of things to do in the area.

Previous guests raved about the hotel's morning breakfast buffet. Everything was expertly prepared. Food was served hot. Empty trays were replaced quickly and efficiently. They found that the selection of items was sufficiently ample to satisfy everyone's tastes.

The hotel has banquet space where they often host weddings and other large events. Guests who had the misfortune of staying during a party and got a room right above it were annoyed by the noise level. Some of them were kept up at night because of it.

Some of the rooms are accessible only by climbing several flights of stairs. There is a lift, but it only reaches certain rooms. A few guests took issue with this, either because they had mobility issues or a inordinate amount of luggage.

A few guests were bothered that the TV’s in the rooms only get four channels, and do not get BBC.
