Napolitano Hotel (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic)

Guests were very pleased by the hotel's breakfast menu. The items were diverse and skilfully prepared. The dishes were in plenty and those that ran out were replenished in good time.

All the guestrooms have furnished balconies with excellent views of the Caribbean Sea and surrounding areas. The rooms are kept very clean and daily housekeeping is available. The decor is elegant and blends in well with the rest of the hotel.

The staff members are very warm and friendly and interact professionally with guests. The reception and waiter staff have excellent knowledge of the surrounding area and are quick to recommend sites, pubs and restaurants that they think might be of interest to you.

A number of guests have complained about the lack of proper soundproofing in the guestrooms. Noise from the street easily gets into the room especially late at night and during the city's morning rush hour traffic.

A number of guests were disappointed to find that the Wi-Fi signal did not perform as well as they had hoped. Though the hotel provides a free Wi-Fi connection, those affected found the signal to be very weak and slow.

Some of the guests who used the gym were dissatisfied with the poor quality equipment and the state of disrepair that some of it was in. A few were of the opinion that there should be a wider variety of workout equipment available.
