Motel Wellington Wodonga (Albury/Wodonga, Australia)

There are many reviews which state how clean, comfortable and spacious the rooms are. The towels are large and fluffy and the decor is also described as being very tasteful.

The motel sits very close to Hume Highway which has been ideal for those staying on business. It is also a 12-minute walk into Albury where you can find takeaway, bars and convenience stores.

Something you do not find very often are heated blankets within a motel room. There are comments by quite a lot of previous guests who have mentioned it was a nice touch to have the heated blanket on an evening, especially those travelling with children.

The descriptions of the actual rooms are very positive but others have explained the bathrooms need some attention as they look tired and also need modernising. Cupboards are faulty, shower heads don't stay on and tiles are cracked and broken.

Because of the motels convenient location near the highway there is a lot of noise through the day and night. This has been an issue to some previous guests on warmer days as the air conditioning has not been great. Windows have had to be opened which has hindered a good night's sleep.

The air conditioning seems to be an issue in many rooms. Most describe it as being very noisy and you can also hear your neighbours unit as the walls are so thin. There are also comments regarding guests smoking at their doors which drifts into other rooms through the windows.
