For all the guests who wanted to have more substantial meals, the Perkins restaurant just across the door was the right choice. It also offers 10% discount for guests staying in the motel. Food served is good and is available at reasonable prices.
Rooms were clean and well-maintained. Furnishings and décor were in a good state. Towels were also clean and adequate in number. As per many guests, the amenities were basic but worth the price paid for. Bathrooms were also good enough. Carpets and wall art were decent and a fresh coat of painting has recently been done in the rooms giving it a neat look.
Guests were very impressed with the professional staff that went out of their way to lend a helping hand to the guests. Their positive and ever-cheerful attitude made the guests feel very comfortable. They were efficient and knowledgeable about the places of interest around.
Some of the guests found the smoke detector low battery alarm ringing early in the morning at 5 am to be very disturbing and panicking at the same time.
The key card system instead of the keys was faulty in most of the rooms. Guests had to swipe it a number of times before it opened the door.
The mattresses were hard, which made it very difficult for some guests to fall asleep while few others got a stiff back.
