The three canal houses in which Max Brown is located have seen a great amount of different owners and users over the three centuries of their existence. Now it’s time for our guests of Max Brown to call these beautiful canal houses their home away from home in Amsterdam.

Rooms are well-decorated but not large. Single and double rooms can be difficult to move around in.

With small rooms comes small bathrooms. In some rooms, the toilet and shower are one unit with no divider. It saves space, but not everyone appreciates having a bathroom sink next to their bed. Showers have also been known to leak or leave the floor wet.

Buildings in Amsterdam up built up to save space, and that means lots of stairs. There is no lift in the hotel, and guests will have to schlep their bags up the steep staircase.
