The hotel’ gardens have been described as very well looked after and many guests enjoyed sitting outside in the warmer weather, admiring the lovely views. The peaceful setting suited many who came here to relax and unwind as well as those who traveled wit
Guests were pleased to find that their rooms had all the necessary amenities as well as big beds and ample space to accommodate the furniture without feeling cramped. The bathrooms were also said to be spacious and well equipped.
The spa has been described as clean, modern and many guests enjoyed using the pool as well as the specialist treatments. The gym was also said to be well-equipped and the spa staff were said to be both friendly and professional.
Some guests objected to walking across the car park in their robes and slippers in order to get to the spa. The layout of the hotel and its facilities were criticised by the guests who found it cumbersome walking to the spa particularly during bad weather
In order to get to their rooms guests had to take two lifts and walk through a long hallway which some found quite tiring. If you have any mobility issues it’s advisable to make this known to the staff prior to booking.
The hotel is set in a picturesque countryside location but quite a way away from the nearest towns and attractions. Those who wanted to be near lots of pubs, bars and shops were disappointed to find that they had to drive to get to the nearest amenities.
