The resort is just steps away from a sandy beach which many of the guests found very convenient. Those who opted for ocean view rooms said that sitting on their balconies whilst admiring the sunsets were the highlights of their stay.
Guests did not have to leave the resort to look for entertainment as there were lots of on-site activities. Many enjoyed the nightly shows of hula dancing as well as the various classes on offer. Those who wanted to unwind and relax chose to spend their time at the pool or having specialist treatments at the spa.
The rooms have been described as being very clean and decorated in traditional Hawaiian style. Guests were pleased to find that their accommodation was well maintained for the duration of their stay. Many also appreciated the large size of their suites, stating that they had plenty of room to move around and to stow away all their belongings.
Some guests reported that the breakfasts consisted mostly of carbohydrates with very little healthy offerings such as fresh fruit. The items on offer didn't change which meant that many guests had to eat the same food every morning for the duration of their stay.
There is no lift on the premises which meant that guests who stayed on the upper floors of the hotel had to climb several flights of stairs a day in order to get to their rooms which many described as quite tiring.
Guests who wanted to use the internet in their rooms said that the Wi-Fi signal was very weak and many had to take their devices to the lobby area in order to connect.
