Jules & Jim Hotel (Paris, France)

Beautifully arranged space.  Modern and chic with artist's displays through the entryway.  Perfect location in Le Marais, near all the popular attractions of Paris, within easy walking distance of everything you like.  The building design included amazing soundproofing, so that although you are city central, there isn't much noise to keep you awake at night.  The decor throughout the premises is exquisite, as is the exceptional attention to detail. This is a smaller hotel, but the use of space is brilliant.  Affordable.

From arrival to departure, they are exemplary for their customer service.  They're never too busy to help with anything you need, from an extra helping at breakfast to directions to your favourite museum to recommendations on a restaurant.  Most are multilingual for added convenience.  

Optimally placed art pieces and furnishings in rooms with excellent lighting, cosy mattresses and pillows and vigorous showers.  Modern with fabulous air-conditioning and steady Wi-Fi.  Quiet even on weekend nights.

Some were saddened that the breakfast wasn't included in the room rate.

Some felt their rooms were too small for adequate lounging.

Housekeeping comes during late afternoon, an odd time for some.
