Set among the modern architecture of the revitalised riverside neighbourhood that hosted the Expo '98 fair, this hotel's location was popular with guests. It was conveniently a short walk from the nearest railway and metro stations for uncomplicated trips throughout the Portuguese capital and for services direct to the airport. There were also handy dining options, bars and a major shopping mall nearby. Guests liked the way they could easily walk to neighbourhood museums, exhibition venues and attractions. Motorists welcomed the on-site parking.

There was frequent praise for the customer service provided by pleasant, helpful and attentive personnel, many of whom spoke English. Visitors appreciated the normally swift check-in.

Reviewers were upbeat about the rooms, describing them as functional but well-equipped, modern and well-cleaned.
