Guests enjoy the Schöneberg location, for while it is outside the city centre and therefore a bit quieter and more reasonably priced, it is well connected by public transportation, with three U-Bahn stations within walking distance, allowing them to quickly and easily reach many of the city's attractions. Guests often note they are spoiled for choice with the many ethnic restaurants and fine bakeries nearby, and enjoy the less "touristy" feel of the neighbourhood.

Most guests find the rooms to be sparkling clean, with comfortable furnishings and plenty of space, even in the single occupancy rooms. Several guests enjoyed a morning coffee on their private balcony, many of which offer a view of Prager platz.

Most guests give the front desk staff rave reviews for their personable and professional customer service, noting that they are happy to provide directions, recommend restaurants, and accommodate special requests. The wait staff also get high marks for their friendly and attentive service.

Though the Wi-Fi is complimentary throughout the building, several guests have described it as slow or otherwise unreliable. Others were irritated by having to log in and enter in a new password every 24 hours.

The Ramada Plaza Berlin City Centre offers both smoking and non-smoking floors, and guests who are inadvertently assigned to smoking rooms are quick to request a change due to the odour. Other non-smoking guests are put off by the crowds of smokers near the hotel entrances.

Guests who opt to have breakfast included in their rate, or who are staying only overnight, generally have positive comments for the quality and variety of dishes on offer, while those who pay separately or stay longer seem to be less impressed.
