Yellowstone Lodge is a two-star hotel, located three blocks away from the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park and has 80 spacious rooms. Activities like fly fishing, 4-wheeling, rafting and horse riding are available. Amenities like flatscreen television, heating/air conditioning units, microwave, refrigerator, iron/ironing board, coffee pot and hair dryer are provided in each room. Guests can choose to stay in the deluxe rooms, Mini Suites or the Family Suites. Bathrooms have upgraded shower heads and two vanity/sink areas. There is an indoor heated pool and Jacuzzi, which is open all year round. Parking and Wi-Fi are complimentary. Guests can use the computer and printer at the computer station (available 24 hours). Facilities of laundry and meeting room can also be availed by the guests. Continental breakfast is complimentary. Many restaurants are located close by. IMAX Theatre and Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center are a few miles away from Yellowstone Lodge.
Most of the guests found the rooms and suites to be spacious and well maintained. They have a very inviting and warm atmosphere without being too cold. Beds are very comfortable to sleep on and bathrooms have fully stocked toiletries. Rooms are not gloomy as they have plenty of natural light coming in. They have all the amenities required to ensure a good stay.
Guests loved the heated indoor pool that could be used in cold months too. It was good to relax in the Jacuzzi, as per many guests. Both the areas are well maintained and are open till 10 pm.
This place is considered to be a must visit for all the skiing enthusiasts as the location is perfect for this activity. Guests had to just cross the street, put on their skis and take off on the Rendezvous trail for an adventurous trip.
Many guests felt that the breakfast is very unhealthy and is full of sugar. Even the yoghurt had only sugar instead of fruits. Few of them also felt that the breakfast is overpriced for the spread provided.
Most of the guests found the place to be quite expensive as compared to some of the other places offering similar facilities.
The Wi-Fi connection in the rooms was very sketchy and would disconnect after a short while. Going to the computer station and waiting for one's turn was found to be cumbersome by the guests.
