Hotel Xperience Kiroseiz Parkland (Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt)

There is much to enjoy here and families are particularly well catered for. There's lots for the kids to do and there are, in fact, several pools to choose from. Boredom isn't an option!

Rooms are really attractive with lots of space. They are cleaned the same time, 'on the dot', every day. No complaints on the cleanliness front.

Hotel food can start to taste a bit ‘samey' after a while. The real attract here, though, is that you aren't limited to this. Splash out on occasions + try some of the hotel's alternatives. The Indian is great. So is the Thai, although you need to dig deeper into the budget for this.

Just as you start to unwind, relax and enjoy your well-deserved holiday, here come the itinerant sellers of all sorts of local rubbish. There is an initial novelty value but this quickly evaporates and these folk become a tiresome invasion into your precious holiday time.

One bottle of beer and several plastic drinking containers may be their idea of ‘party time' but it doesn't wash with holiday makers! The sun shines everywhere here, but if you can find anywhere where the sun doesn't shine … maybe the hotel should put its ‘free' alcoholic drinks offer there!

The ‘freeby' bus runs every hour to the beach … but it's a long and bumpy road. Conclusion: take another look at the hotel pool. Maybe better to stay there!
