Rooms are clean and spacious - a bit basic, but the price tells you that in advance. Showers are excellent and some rooms have fantastic views; a real bonus! Rooms and all other areas are exceptionally clean at all times.

There's a free minibus service to the beach and to Pefkohori's shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is quite remote, so this ‘link to civilisation' is a very popular and much appreciated plus. The village is a couple of miles away and there's no lighting or pavement. Transportation of some kind is therefore essential.
The pool bar is very appealing and relaxing. Unfortunately, the spirits served are restricted in choice to brandy and ouzo. That's it; there's no happy medium…apart from some cocktails which are imaginative, reasonably priced and delicious.
As with many tourist related hotels, food is worryingly ‘tepid'… never hot! Menus are repetitive and so tend to become monotonous. If you like salad though, these are great.
The beach is a 5-6 minute walk and very pebbly once you get to it. It's also very steep, so you can quickly get out of your depth. Sun beds are free though … better stay on that! English speakers too may also feel out of their depth as fellow hotel guests are predominantly German and Russian. Staff members speak English though.
