Xaviera's Happy House is an unconventional, bohemian, bed and breakfast run by Xaviera, famous Madame and Penthouse columnist, and her husband. The B&B is in an elegant villa close to museums, smart shops and eating out options, and is an Amsterdam base for exciting people from all over the world. There are two guest rooms with Wi-Fi and shared bathrooms. They are quaintly named David and Goliath. Both rooms have radio, TV, hospitality trays and hair dryers. Goliath can sleep up to three and also has a furnished balcony. Xaviera's Happy House B&B has a garden and terrace area and lockable bike parking. Paid car parking is available on the street. Guests can use the onsite fridge and also request luggage storage. Free continental breakfast is served each morning at the B&B. Guests can also request a meal cooked by Xaviera’s chef husband. The Van Gogh Museum, RAI Congress Centre and Beatrix Park are some local attractions.

There is only one bathroom that guests of the two guestrooms here have to share. The sink here is also reportedly very small.
For many visitors, the rather unconventional set up was too strange for their tastes and the hosts were seen as too inquisitive in cases. The closets in the guest rooms actually contain Xaviera’s clothing, which guests found to be rather bizarre. Pets are allowed everywhere on the property, which some people found unpleasant.
Guest parking here is not free; in fact it is rather expensive as guests pointed out. Guests also found it odd that they were required to pay only by cash (no card) and many guests also thought that the place is overpriced and rooms very small.
