Hotel Wyndham Gettysburg (Gettysburg, USA)

With the exception of a few guests who found themselves in accessible or pet-friendly rooms unnecessarily, guests are complimentary about the standard of the rooms, finding them clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and reasonably spacious. The choice of included amenities is impressive.

Although many guests were disappointed by the lack of a free breakfast, they do tend to agree that it is enjoyable and, in many cases, worth the additional outlay. However, there are plenty of nearby restaurants and cafes should you decide not to pay the extra cost.

While not right in the center of town, this hotel places you within walking distance of a small retail area with a cinema and a number of shops. Gettysburg's numerous attractions still remain within easy reach.

Many guests found this hotel was too crowded. While this may be testament to how good it is, it also means you'll have to contend with a fair amount of noise, lots of children running around, and fairly long waits for the elevators.

Although the Wi-Fi is free, several guests indicate that it's too slow to be of any real use, with many claiming that the connection wasn't fast enough to accomplish even basic tasks such as checking emails.

On the whole, guests are impressed by the Wyndham Gettysburg but there do appear to be some oversights on the hotel's part. Many guests were disappointed by the lack of complimentary coffee in the lobby while others were surprised that mini-fridges and microwaves were not automatically provided and did, in fact, incur a rental cost.
