Rooms at the Wingate by Wyndham Hotel are generally of a good size and most would suite family stays. Rooms allow in a lot of natural light during the day which, along with the spacious layout, creates a bright and airy atmosphere. Rooms are very clean with hotel cleaning staff ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.

The hotel equips every room with high-quality ‘memory foam' beds which helps to ensure a good night's rest, beds are comfortable and offer great back support. The self-service breakfast buffet serves plenty of hot or cold options with diligent breakfast staff keeping all options well-stocked.

Hotel staff offer a very friendly and professional service throughout, from first point-of-contact front desk staff through to breakfast and housekeeping staff. Staff are very approachable and will generally take care of problems or requests efficiently.

Some parts of the hotel including carpets and furnishing in some rooms are quite dated and in need of replacement or updating.

The Wingate by Windham Hotel offers more environmentally friendly ‘pressurized toilets' in every en suite bathroom. These are basically water jet flushing toilets and some will find them to be quite loud and disturbing, even when another guest in another rooms flushes.

The hotel is currently in the middle of on-going updates to all rooms and public areas and while some areas have already been successfully updated, some areas are still in the process which can lead to some inconvenience in noise or rooms not appearing as advertised.
