Escape to historic White Water Farm. We offer guests a welcoming rural haven with magnificent mountain scenery in the Kleinriver valley near Stanford, South Africa. We are 145km from Cape Town International Airport, just 1hr45m drive. The accommodation, wedding and conference facilities have all been recently renovated to a high standard of comfort and hospitality with the warm and personal touch of the owners. The ambience of the farm is relaxed “modern country”. This picture-perfect and historical venue is the ideal place to escape – whether it is for a much-needed rest, an adventure, a business conference, a wedding or a private retreat. The owners live permanently on the farm, raise Nguni cattle, keep horses & donkeys, as well as chickens & ducks providing fresh eggs for breakfast! The 4000sqm organic vegetable garden provides fresh herbs and vegetables for the on-site restaurant, The Garden Grill. All other provisions are sourced locally and offer a menu of delicious harvest table style dishes cooked by owner/chef, Rob Bell. The Garden Grill is open for dinner on Saturday and lunch on Sunday, serving fresh local food in a Mediterranean grill style on sharing platters. Next to the restaurant is the barn “chapel” which was converted from the old distillery, where Witblits (a local liquor like Grappa) used to be made, hence the historic farm’s name - Witwater or White Water. The greenhouse style restaurant looks out to a lovely shaded garden situated under a grove of oak trees and blue gums, making it an ideal venue for weddings and conferences.
