Destined to get any visit off on the right foot, there is a warm and genuine welcome from the front desk staff.

Beds are comfortable and the room is clean. There's none of that smell that builds up over the years in 'some places' - on arrival .. everything smells just fine! Also and most important, the air conditioning does its job! Rooms don't carry every conceivable item you'll need but, if you want, say, an iron and board, just ask and they'll deliver it promptly.

There's no shortage of places to eat nearby and the same goes for convenience stores, if dedicated to self catering. For quick snacks and meals the in room refrigerator and microwave are ready to go.

There's a dirty old pool which is a real turn off and there's all sorts of strange individuals coming and going throughout the day and night. Very unsettling.

Carpets are worn, frayed and dirty. The air conditioner is similarly very unclean and there's mold in the bathroom area. Lack of water pressure results in an ineffective dribble. Wi-Fi is very slow, but that pales into insignificance compared with other weaknesses here. If registering complaints, the owners can become unpleasant and be warned - they don't operate a refund policy!

The motel is in Brownsville, rather than Pensacola itself and the area is very run down. Many of those wandering in and out are up to no good, resulting in you feeling unsafe, even in your own room.
