The motel benefits from happy staff who enjoy helping you with your stay. They're the ones to go to for insider knowledge about the best attractions and eateries, and how to make the most of your getaway. They're also quick to respond to requests and questions.

The Wayfarer Motel of Myrtle Beach is good if you're watching expenses. You'll get a room with the basics, but if that's all you care about, then keep this place in mind when ready to make reservations.

It's disheartening to see that the rooms could use better attention and care. While outdated décor may not be a surprise, the budget costs still shouldn't mean rooms that are clearly worn and torn. More TLC would make it a nicer option.
