Guests fell in love with this resort, even before they boarded the seaplane for the quick journey to paradise. From the moment guests arrived in the W airport lounge, they knew they were in for something special. You'll feel like a rock star with personal, attentive service that was like nothing guests had experienced before. From daily surprises of coconuts and drinks, to remembering each guest's name, the "whatever, whenever" motto of the W Retreat & Spa Maldives really came through.

Ocean lovers will experience their share of underwater creatures at this hotel. Guests weren't disappointed with a dazzling array of marine life, including friendly turtles, baby whale sharks, and electric fish. Night time snorkelling was a highlight for many, and guests loved that they could hop into the water any time they wanted, right from their rooms.

Guests were licking their lips with the fresh meal options. Fish that had been caught moments before were cooked to succulent perfection, and food was found to be inventive. A stand-out was the fireside restaurant, where carnivores could tuck into spit-roasted delights with their toes sunken in the sand.
