With the whitewashed design typical of the island, villas here come with super modern facilities. Accommodations include a flat screen television and terrace/balcony. Kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, stovetop and a toaster. Bathrooms have a bathtub. Guests can relax and sunbathe in the gardens near the private swimming pools. An outdoor pool, safety deposit box and barbecue facilities are also present. Wi-Fi and parking are complimentary. There are many restaurants and bars at a walking distance in and around the Villas Don Rafael complex where guests can enjoy a hearty meal. Lanzarote Airport is only four miles away whereas the Rancho Texas Park is within a distance of a mile from the villa complex.
Guests loved the well-designed villas that were spacious and spotlessly clean. It has good-sized rooms along with two bathrooms and adequate outdoor space that is perfect for a family of at least six people. A bottle of chilled wine, drinking water, tea/coffee, a stock of washing machine and dishwasher tablets are provided in the villas. Sheets and linen are changed every day.
Villas are at an accessible distance of about ten minutes' walk to many bars and restaurants. Commuting by taxi is also very pocket-friendly. Kids had a great day out at the Rancho Texas Park zoo. Beach and the harbour are five minutes' walk from the villas. Guests had a gala time at the Country Western Night every Friday and Saturday night. Spar Supermarket is close by for guests who want to buy groceries.
Guests enjoyed soaking up the sun around the pool. Private pools offered adequate amount of privacy. These pools were cleaned every day before the guests could use it. Staff was very helpful and they promptly sorted out all the concerns that each of the guests had.
Most of the guests felt the pinch of the absence of an air conditioner. Fan is not sufficient to keep the room cool during the warm months.
Since the villas are near an island, the Wi-Fi is poor. It kept disconnecting making it a difficult process to work online.
Some of the guests felt that the beds were rock hard and the pillows were too soft. This factor combined with the traffic noise in the main bedroom made it difficult for the guests to have a peaceful sleep.
