Hotel Villa Victorine is a newly renovated two-star hotel located just five minutes from the sea, the famous Promenade des Anglais, and a ten-minute bus ride from the centre of Nice. There are eight beautifully designed rooms on-site that range in size from single, double comfort, double superior and triple. The owners have been praised for being courteous and are very proud of their hotel. They enjoy serving excellent breakfast, keeping the communal garden pristine and they are very helpful for getting tips about the best places in Nice to eat.
If you have an early flight and you'd like to save money on cab fare, this hotel is just a five minutes cab ride and it is close enough to ensure that you'll skip the traffic of centre city.
You'll be delighted to wake up to a large breakfast buffet every morning that serves up typical French breakfast items. Previous guests have mentioned that this was their favourite part of their experience.
While the owners are friendly, their lack of English sometimes makes communication difficult. Although most guests got on just fine with them, some of them felt that that added communication would have been useful.
Although the airport is closed for most of the night, flights do begin to operate early in the morning. Some guests found that the noise of the planes woke them up too early.
Only a ten-minute bus ride to Nice, the bus stops in front of the hotel quite frequently. There are not too many restaurants in the area, but there is a supermarket. If you'd like to dine out in Nice you'll have to drive or take public transportation.
