Breakfast buffets are served daily, including pastries and homemade jam, and several restaurants are found within a short stroll. Hotel Villa Stella is a 20-minute bus ride from Circolo Golf Venezia and a few minutes further away from Venice - Lido Airport.
Guests said they arrived to cosy and comfortable basic accommodation, which was tastefully furnished in a characterful Venetian fashion, and there was even a cute little garden to wind down in after a day exploring Venice. Furthermore, there is reportedly a nice atmosphere in the villa, thanks to the family staff members, who were said to be hospitable and helpful with showing guests how to get around Venice.
The buffet breakfast is reportedly rather delicious, and sometimes includes cooked fare like crepes, as well as a wide variety of normal but nevertheless tasty continental options like cake, cold cuts, coffee and cereals. On top of this, a bakery and a handful of restaurants were mentioned as being found close by.
Villa Stella was said to be located in a peaceful neighbourhood away from the tourist masses, just a short stroll from Lido beach, local buses and the vaporetto water bus station. Despite this, those who stayed said it takes a maximum of 15 minutes to reach the centre of Venice with the water bus.
Those who stayed at Villa Stella did not find much to complain about, but there were a couple of small points to keep in mind: a few people reported lots of mosquitoes in the area — so take repellant if you are particularly susceptible to bites — and there is not so much going on in the area in terms of dining or attractions.
