Villa Palumbo consists of comfortable and well equipped bed and breakfast rooms in the picturesque town of Positano in Italy. Located about a ten minute walk to the closest beach, the rooms overlook Piazza dei Mulini. There are three air conditioned rooms with free wireless Internet connections. A TV, minibar, and an en suite bath with shower and hair dryer are some room features. Each room has a terrace with lovely views. The Villa Palumbo has a terrace for guests to enjoy. The hosts are friendly and welcoming; generous about accommodating guests. They live onsite and are happy to help at any time said guests. The rooms are clean and very well kept. Guests with limited knowledge of Italian found that communication was not a problem, and the owners and staff were happy to help out with any guidance or direction required.
The Villa Palumbo is located in a quite area on a hill side and overlooking the Piazza dei Mulini; however it is in a quiet and peaceful location that is also conveniently close to the bus station. The villa is also walking distance to several eating out options and the beach area.
The location of the villa is very picturesque, but it is also on top of a rather steep hill. So walking into town is tantamount to a strenuous 15 minutes of walking or having to take the bus said guests. Also there is no parking close to the villa as that is reserved for residents of the area.
Being in a privately owned home, the rooms are comfortable but have no common areas for guests to enjoy, save their own balconies. Breakfast is also served there each morning said guests.
The villa offers good views of the town rather than of the sea. Guests expecting sea views were disappointed.
