Hotel Villa Mary and Villa Anna (Stalis, Greece)

Guests all agree that the couple that operates the hotel are personable, warm, and extremely helpful, especially for those who are travelling with children, the handicapped, or the elderly. Very kind hearted hosts who go out of their way to assist and accommodate you. Nothing is too much trouble.

This hotel is situated five minutes from the ocean, is in walking distance of Stalis, and there is a bus stop that picks up right in front of the hotel. Great location and plenty to do.

At any given time a third of the guests at the hotel are return visitors because they love the hotel, and the hotel's hosts, so much. They talk about the hosts as if they were family, including stories,  homemade Greek food, dancing, and laugher among friends. Many great friendships are made and maintained at this hotel.

Since the hotel is situated right next to a bus stop and on one of the main streets, there is vehicular noise most of the time. The noise is less if you stay on the far side of the hotel, and the room, itself is equipped with many noise cancelling extras. Still, if you are a light sleeper, you might want to be moved to a room away from the street.

The bar that is located poolside is not always attended, so guests have complained about the inconsistency of that particular service at the hotel.

Guests have remarked that the pool is quite small, so if there are a group of people there you won't find any space in the water. It is a better bet to just head to the beach for a dip to cool off.
