This apartment looks out over the blue waters of Zaton Bay and the island of Kolo?ep, is just a few miles away from the village of Zaton, and 11 minutes from the Trsteno Arboretum. Each of the two bedrooms in this 400-year-old villa has its own bathroom and sea views, while a living room, kitchen and dining room can be found downstairs. Amenities here include air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a TV. Free private parking and BBQ facilities are available, while airport transfers on surcharge are possible. A restaurant can be found 50 metres from the villa, as well as further dining five minutes’ walk away in Stikovica village. Villa Gverović is less than half an hour’s drive away from Dubrovnik Airport.
Guests loved how Villa Gverović’s waters edge terrace put them just one dive away from the Adriatic Sea, while simultaneously being conveniently located a short drive away from Dubrovnik, with private parking space available. Those travelling without a car also found it possible to use the bus to get to and from the old town and city centre, and the proximity to the road was not thought to be disturbing.
The hosts here were reported to be a friendly and accommodating family, who were happy to help out when needed, but proved to be in no way overbearing. On top of this, you will apparently be just several minutes’ walk away from a very good restaurant, as well as just a short stroll away from a few places you can stock up on supplies.
Those who had the chance to stay here said the villa and its garden were absolutely gorgeous, and included a balcony to enjoy the stunning views from, as well as a kitchen equipped with everything you could need.
The only downside anyone who stayed at Villa Gverović could come up with was that the Wi-Fi can occasionally be a little weak in some areas. Nevertheless, no-one seemed to be too upset, since they were hardly there to surf the internet.
