Some guests were disappointed to find that they had quite a bit of a walk in order to get to the nearest beach whilst those who wanted to sample the local bars and cafes said they had to catch the bus in order to reach the city centre.
The walls of the rooms were said to be quite thin as guests remarked that they could hear everything going on in the adjoining suites. Some also objected to being able to hear traffic noise as the villa overlooks a rather busy road.
Guests reported several maintenance issues including a lack of hot water which meant that many had to have a luke-warm shower. Some also objected to the rather noisy appliances such as the fridges and air-conditioning units.
