The proximity of the hotel to the beaches, shops and restaurants is very convenient. You can easily use the public transportation and the higher rooms of the hotel have wonderful views over the resort and ocean.

Guests to the Vila Gale Estoril Hotel have reported that they really enjoyed the restaurant buffets. The breakfast is fantastic with its wide variety; the food is fresh and tasty. The supper buffet is also good with a fantastic variety of dishes on offer. The restaurant service staff members are very friendly and helpful.

From the moment you arrive at the hotel the staff are fantastic, they are very friendly and welcoming. The cleaning staff are efficient and meticulous. The restaurant staff are attentive and constantly keeping up with the busy meal times. The general reception staff are hard-working and they make you feel like you are their most important guest.

Some guests have reported that the decor of the hotel could do with an update. Some of the carpets are worn and dirty in areas and the walls could do with a new paint job. The furniture is also outdated and some is damaged and in need of repairs. However, many guests also commented that they spent most of their time outside in any case.

Since the rates for this hotel are relatively cheap some guests were not happy to pay additional fees for the use of certain amenities such as safety deposit boxes, slippers and bathrobes. Guests would rather be charged a slightly higher price and have these things included.

This hotel does not have a garden, it only has a paved pool area. Guests travelling with children would prefer to have a garden or grassy area for the children to play in. Some guests reported that the swimming pool and sun terrace was too small with regard to the size of the hotel. There are also not enough sun loungers and parasols around the swimming pool.
