General information: Welcome to Vegotel, an environmentally friendly hotel located in a farmhouse build in 1885 on the Seadyke in Blije (Friesland) next to the beautiful Waddensea area. Peace and space to enjoy and recover from all your daily stress. The Wadden Sea area has recently been voted the most beautiful nature location in the Netherlands. There are four national parks in the region and it is a Unesco world heritage site. A beautiful area for cycling and walking. Only 8 minutes away from Dokkum and 20 from Leeuwarden and the A31 towards Amsterdam. Vegotel is suitable for short and longer (holiday) stays. We offer four different full board holiday types and three package deals including an electric car or E-bike. Prices includes VAT, tourist tax, a Dutch breakfast and daily cleaning. A full English or French breakfast is available at extra costs. The Vegotel concept: Vegotel is fully ecological including an all-day vegan breakfast with cold cuts, cheese and other dairy products (A-class substitutes). Vegan food is the easiest way to contribute to a better environment. Next to this we offer free internet with a LAN connection to prevent electrosmog. Our Vegotel rooms: We offer two Vegotel rooms. Vegotelroom 1 is larger, a bit more luxurious and has free TV. Both have direct access to the bathroom, if only one room is rented the bathroom is fully private. They can be rented together at reduced price (family option) and if you want the bathroom guaranteed for yourself Vegotel room 2 can be secured at 50% of the price. Both are suitable for two people and have free internet, coffee and tea facilities and a beautiful unobstructed view over the meadows.
