The Vagabond at Kicking Horse Resort is a beautiful 10 room Boutique Inn. It is located across the road from the Gondola at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort near Golden BC in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. A full buffet healthy breakfast is included featuring home-baked sourdough breads, fruit scones, home-made yogurt, hot and cold cereals, eggs, fresh fruit, pancakes and more. All rooms are located in the top floor with private bathrooms with great views of the rocky mountains. Beds have feather rest mattress covers and duvets. Six of the rooms have balconies. Rooms do not have televisions. There is free wifi access throughout the building. There is no elevator at the Vagabond. Vagabond caters to clients who have a more active lifestyle. If stairs are an issue then this is not the place for you. A large guest area is featured on the main floor with a wood burning fireplace, no host bar area, and overstuffed furniture throughout. Because of the nature of the building guests are restricted to ages 14 and over. Pets are not allowed nor smoking in or near the building.
