All members of staff are very friendly and helpful. It's obviously thought to be a necessary feature, but the presence of a security guard does set the mind at rest.
It's a good location - easy to find and just off the Freeway. Restaurants etc; are nearby.
There's a long-established smell here that pervades all areas, clothing, etc. Not nice. The electrics are somewhat dubious and the stains on carpets and chairs are as old as the items themselves. *This ‘Vagabond' has long since abdicated as a ‘King' among local motels.
Truckers don't demand the ultimate in luxury but there are limits and they know when they are being short-changed. They react negatively when faced with little or no hot water in the shower, poor TV reception and a generally less than acceptable room quality. The dubious qualities of the people hanging around also serve to make this place one to avoid.
Breakfast isn't ‘Subway' … it's sub-standard. It doesn't merit the ‘breakfast' title. Time is better spent searching out local fast-food outlets. There are plenty nearby, including Denny's. At least you know that you are going to get a good meal and value for money.
