Positive Reviews

positive:

Superb home-cooked breakfast

The complimentary breakfast of fresh breads and muffins, cereals, yoghurt among other options is a nice added personal touch and an early breakfast, packed to go or served at the bed and breakfast, can be arranged for those needing to hit the road in the morning.

positive:

Free parking

Each guest at the House of Two Urns has a vehicle parking space available to them at no extra cost. If you have any preferences i.e. garage, off street, etc. then specify this while booking as the parking space you are assigned depends on the room you book.

positive:

Charming location to explore

The bed and breakfast's immediate area and Wicker Park as a whole is an interesting one to roam around or enjoy the historic sites and buildings as well as many restaurants and unique shops. The staff are on hand to give recommendations and help with making restaurant reservations or booking various city tours.

Negative Reviews

negative:

Some shared bathrooms

A couple of the Queen bedrooms are not ensuite and share a bathroom between up to four people. This may be useful for a group wanting to book both rooms, however if you would rather not share a bathroom with strangers then specify an ensuite room while reserving your room.

negative:

Old building so no elevators

This 1920s brownstone has two storeys and an attic above, so guests may need to climb up to three storeys worth of stairs which may be a problem for anyone travelling with heavy luggage or mobility constraints.

negative:

Rooms are on the small side

In keeping with the quaint nature of the bed and breakfast, most of the guest rooms are a little compact and small so you may need to be economical with your use of space.
