Hotel Truntum Kuta (Kuta, Indonesia)

Grand Inna Kuta enjoys an absolutely premium location in the resort town of Kuta, right next to Kuta Beach and close enough to the shops, restaurants and bars so that you can walk to them.

The swimming pools here are a cut above the rest, big enough so that it doesn't get crowded and the kids never get bored. The hotel building literally circles the pool so you can step out of your room and the glistening water is right in front of you.

The staff here seem to be always smiling, which makes them very approachable if you have any requests or there is a problem with your room. Generally they will do everything they can to help.

The hotel premises is large and it can take quite some time to walk from reception to your room if it's at the back. The free Wi-Fi service cannot reach all of the rooms, so sitting in the lobby to connect might be your only choice.

This hotel is like Jekyll and Hyde, one half is fresh, new and inviting, while the other side is dirty, old and repugnant. There are two buildings with rooms here, one nice and one not, so whatever you do avoid the old building at all costs.

The complimentary breakfast buffet at the Grand Inna Kuta leaves a lot to be desired, especially when considering this is a four star hotel. There isn't enough choice to satisfy everyone, with cold cuts, fresh bread and cheeses in poor supply.
