Hotel Tropical (Puerto de la Cruz, Spain)

Just a few moments from the sea side and a short walk to town guests most appreciated the hotel’s proximity to supermarkets, shops, banks and bars.

The cheerful part of ‘cheap and cheerful’, guests enjoyed the upbeat and helpful staff at the Hotel Tropical who, for the most part, offered advice and help when requested.

While some guests felt the room quality left a little to be desired, they thought the rooms were clean and tidy, offering an inviting welcome on entry.

Despite its convenient location, the biggest complaint from guests was about with the loud music that would filter in from the street and the neighbouring clubs.

There are both rooms and studios. The studios feature a kitchenette but some guests felt it was under stocked with the necessary items to prepare a meal, defeating the purpose of the kitchenette.

The rooms are furnished rather basically. Some guests said that unfortunately the rooms could be more comfortable, the beds were not to their standard or furnishings becoming tired and worn out.
