‘A1’ – for lack of noise.
Obviously, as the title suggests; this place is on the busy A1M – but the traffic noise is barely noticeable at all.

For great dining options, go over the motorway bridge and enjoy super quality and choice at the Tavistock ... and behind that, the Toby Carvery.
Very friendly and efficient, they’ll whisk you through the registration process and answer any queries that you may have.
They don’t charge you for the first half hour (*big deal!), but they do after that. The speed is horrid anyway... so, really they should pay you to use it!
Not everything is spot on and slap bang up to date. Beds can still be uncomfortable and bathrooms in need of TLC. These may figure in the chain of planned updates, but not much help if you are booked in today.
The heating system has a mind of its own and whilst it’s better to be too hot rather than too cold … it’s taken to extremes here. Opening a window (*limited opening capacity) has little effect and just serves to increase the noise levels coming from outsi
