It has to be said that, for a budget roadside hotel, the TVs at Travelodge Santa Clarita/Valencia afford plenty in the way of channel choice. If you enjoy a bit of TCM, MeTv or GetTv then you'll be in your element here.
Most of the hotel's employees (though not all, sadly) are proactive and personable people who will happily go out of their way to help ensure you have all you need to enjoy your stay.
As well as being pretty small, the parking bays here are also relatively few and far between when compared with the number of guests the hotel can actually accommodate. This means that, during busy periods, you are by no means guaranteed a place. Top Tip: try to arrive before 10pm!
How small? Well put it this way: there's only a handful of tables (with chairs) so you may well find yourself having to stand up while you eat if you're not an early riser. Not the best way to start the day.
Although they're neat and tidy, it is a sad fact that many of the guest rooms here look a little rough round the ages in terms of furnishings, décor and amenities. The bathrooms aren't so great either, with loose toilets and mildew-ridden wallpaper adding to the overall effect. Action needed.
