Drivers welcomed the free parking and said it was simple to access parks, golf clubs, shopping centres and sports venues. Another bonus was that there was a cinema and bowling alley next door plus several eateries located within easy walking distance.

The upgraded rooms were reportedly basic but more than adequately clean, tidy and comfortable for a quick stay. Many visitors said the beds were cosy. Budget-conscious travellers usually said they got decent bang for their buck because the rooms were competitively priced.
