Hotel Travelodge by Wyndham Orlando / Heart of International Drive (Orlando, USA)

The hotel is located in a tourist area with plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Guests also liked how close it was to International Drive and Universal Studios and you can easily go on sightseeing tours and excursions from here.

Guests appreciated the fact that they could park on the premises and found the daily fee to be affordable.

Several guests reported that the staff manning the front desk was friendly and professional.

Several guests commented that the housekeeping staff didn't seem to be motivated to thoroughly clean the rooms, as they found hair, crumbs, and items from previous guests in their rooms upon check-in. Throughout their stay, guests noted that housekeeping would only perform a very basic cleaning that didn't remove all stains and trash.

Guests noted that they encountered mold in the bathroom, and they also noticed that the carpets were stained and in need of either serous shampooing or replacement. Some also pointed out that the fridge, air-conditioner and TV weren't working, and they found stains on the chairs and comforters. The rooms were also reported to have an odor, as most guests described it as a combination of mildew and sewage.

Even though the hotel advertises free breakfast, guests were surprised to find out that it only offers one meal per room, regardless of the number of occupants. Those who ate breakfast noted that it was very limited and basically consisted of bread and jam, and that some pastries were available for purchase.
