Hotel Travelodge Burbank-Glendale (Burbank, USA)

The hotel's location close to the Universal Studios is one of the chief attractions for visitors, who found the neighbourhood to be safe and quiet. Beds are comfortable and clean: guests stated that the rooms themselves are fine for this level of lodging and they would continue to stay here when they need to visit the area for business.

The staff and managers were very helpful, and the room was bigger than expected with everything including a huge TV! The hotel was easy to find and the staff are helpful with their directions. The swimming pool is an added attraction, very comfortable to lounge by and relax. Traffic noise is not a problem.

Rooms are very clean, with a comfortable bed, new air conditioning unit, a nice TV, and basically everything you would expect in a room. Parking is a little tight, but if you have a big car they have another parking lot next door for larger vehicles.

The hotel is undoubtedly in need of some updating and refurbishment, complaints from guests include: a roof leaking onto the bed necessitating a change of room, old carpet that was both dirty and smelling, and a shower door spilling water onto the floor.

Some guests found the beds to be hard and uncomfortable, paint was peeling off the doors, and a toilet bowl was not clean. Mention was made of cockroaches. Others found the breakfast disappointing.

Some customers found the staff to be not up to standard, experiences included a guest whose credit card was charged $3000 instead of $300 and guests who had called to ensure that there was a shuttle to Universal Studios being told that there was one when there was not.
