Shopping aficionados were very impressed with the convenience of this hotel to the Mall of America, which was said to be a very easy walk away since it was just across the street, and because there was also a shuttle service running there for those who may return with excess purchases or weary feet. In addition to this, it was also reported as being very close to the Minneapolis Airport, which was thought very convenient for those arriving or departing by air, and few people mentioned being disturbed by any airport noise making it through the soundproofing.

The buffet breakfasts served up here every day were popular with hotel guests, since they were complimentary, featured some nice hot dishes and were overall thought to offer a nice variety of food. Moreover, people enjoyed the fact that there were some nice common areas to relax in, such as an outdoor patio area and a pool.
