Daily housekeeping is included for all rooms, which feature a laptop-suitable safety locker, tea- and coffee-making facilities, private bathrooms and an iPod docking station. This hotel offers tourism-booking services and free luggage storage. Guests staying here will find themselves mere minutes away from a wide range of restaurants, cafes and bars. Furthermore, the service provided by the staff working here was thought to be excellent, with the team members being reported as very hospitable, helpful and knowledgeable when it came to offering city advice and helping with bookings.
This hotel is said to have an excellent central Amsterdam location, right next to the entertainment and dining of Rembrandtplein, just around the corner from picturesque canals and within walking distance of everything else that the city has to offer. Despite the premium location, the price was also thought to be very good.
Decor-wise, this hotel's creators are said to have done very well in creating a unique, tasteful and welcoming interior. The rooms here were also said to be modern and very comfortable, with cosy beds and pillows, a nice selection of teas and little treats, while the bathrooms, although small, were said to be perfectly functional.
Some of those who stayed were a little intimidated by the steep Dutch stairways and lack of an elevator to avoid these, so make sure you book with this in mind if you are travelling with lots of luggage or if someone in your party has limited mobility. On top of this, there can apparently be some noise from the streets outside, so light sleepers may want to take earplugs.
