Guests were wowed by panoramic city views that were especially breathtaking at night. Floor to ceiling windows really showcased the city in the background, and some guests could even see the Petronas Towers from their suite.
The nicely designed swimming pool took up more of guests' time than they had originally planned. The pool deserved a return visit with its large size and plenty of room to take in some sun. It is also open until late, and guests enjoyed taking a dip at night.
Guests didn't have to worry about safety at this hotel, with separate key cards for the elevators and rooms. Security personnel also seemed to have a big presence at Times Service Suites, and guests never had to worry about theft or other safety matters.
Guests were surprised by an unconventional check-in process. They were initially greeted by a security guard and brought to a reception desk on a higher floor in the middle of the hotel. This check-in point didn't serve as a traditional hotel reception desk, and guests missed the traditional hotel welcome.
Not only were guests asked to pay a deposit for key cards, they were also inconvenienced by limited hotel access. It seems that cards only access certain floors, and guests travelling with parties staying on different floors found it awkward. It was sometimes also hard to return to the reception area if guests needed to ask a question.
Some guests were unhappy with the state of their accommodation. Housekeeping wasn't always up to par, and room quality was sometimes below average. Leaking fixtures, smoky rooms, worn upholstery and stains were a few of the complaints that guests had.
