Hotel Time Out Florida Villas (Kissimmee, USA)

The villas are minutes from family themed attractions such as Medieval Times and the Kissimmee Sports Arena & Rodeo. This earned a thumbs up from the kids while golfers enjoyed several nearby golf clubs. Proximity to restaurants and shops was also a plus.

Those looking for privacy and a quiet place to kick back in the Florida sunshine said the villas fit the bill. They described the surrounding neighbourhood as pleasant and peaceful and summed up the accommodations as homelike and comfortable.

A dip in the pool and a sunset barbecue summed up the Florida experience for many guests.  Kids were particularly enthusiastic and parents appreciated ample room for youngsters to play.

Guests reported weeds in planting areas, brown and unkempt lawns, peeling and faded paint work and a generally unkempt appearance to the exterior areas.

Poor housekeeping and lack of maintenance were reported with guests complaining about dirty and stained carpeting, broken furniture, stained bed linen, insect infestations and unpleasant odours. Other complaints included cracked and missing bathroom tiles, poorly equipped and serviced kitchens and dirty swimming pools.

Guests reported a variety of management related issues concerning these properties. Complaints ranged from lack of response by management to claims that the properties assigned were not those initially booked. There were issues with deposits not refunded and additional charges that had not been described in advance.  Guests also reported that the accommodations seemed to be managed by different booking agents which resulted in confusion and general dissatisfaction with the experience.
