The Yew Tree Inn in Bishop's Stortford is found an attractive venue by guests. It suits anyone looking to spend some nights in the quietness of a country pub. Guests say that it is an impressive place to host a small lunch, event or hold daytime meetings.
Guests love the rooms with tranquil surroundings. The beds are huge and they like the choice of shower or bath in the en suite bathrooms.
Guests speak highly of the food of the inn's restaurant. They say the food served is of a high quality whether it is the hearty pub food or the fancier a la carte menu. The continental breakfast is filling with a huge variety and guests can still have an upgraded breakfast if they hanker for more. The wine and coffee also won the appreciation of the guests.
Some guests do not like the small size of the TVs and also their placement as it is too high on the wall. The picture appears dark as a consequence. They also miss Wi-Fi connectivity in the rooms. The signal available in the public places of the inn is rather poor too.
Guests are not happy with the heating in the rooms. The radiators in the rooms are less than adequate but the radiators in the bathrooms are too hot; the scorching heat is enough to cause burns, which guests said it did!
The bar of the inn shuts at nine in the nights and earlier on holidays. Guests find this a shame as they do not have anywhere else to go and would have preferred the venue of the bar anyway as they find it lovely.
